CHARSADDA: Unknown attackers in police uniform entered in a house and killed five persons including three women in firing here in Sardheri.

According to police, some 40 persons wearing police uniform cordoned off the house of a man named Ameer Nawaz while some of them jumping over the wall entered the house.

They took out Kamran, elder son of head of the family Ameer Nawaz, and murdered him while killed his mother, wife and sister firing inside the house.

Ameer Nawaz was also severely wounded and taken to District Hospital Charsadda where he died.

Police began the investigation of the incident.

MALAKANAD: The operation against extremists continues in Malakand Agency and Swat and the security forces have gained control of the area of Kalil Kandao, a suburban area of Mingora.

According to sources, shelling from the security forces continues with regular intervals at hideouts of the militants in various areas from Himargarah Cantonment to Tehsil Maidan.

However, no loss of life has been reported .

Previous day, the security forces arrested three militants from Shamozai, an area of Chakdara in lower Dir.

In-charge operation Col Arshad, giving briefing to media, told that the area of Isband from Chakdara has been cleared.

Meanwhile, the security forces have gained control of the area of Kalil Kandao, a suburban area of Mingora.

As per media centre Swat, curfew in Shangla, Madyan and Khwazakhela will be relaxed today from 8-00 am to 5-00 pm.

WANA: At least four security personnel were killed and eight others injured in South Waziristan Agency area of Jandolah and Saplatoi, Geo News reported Thursday.

The forces retaliated the attack with force in Saplatoi and killed two extremists.

According to sources, the extremists attacked FC camp in Jandolah area of FR Tank adjacent to SWA. Three personnel were killed as the rocket hit the camp and four security men were inured.

The forces returned the attack, on which, the attackers fled.

In Saplatoi area of SWA, the extremists attacked the security forces camp with rockets and automatic weapons, killing one security man and injuring four others.

The forces killed at least two miscreants in the countering the attack.
